Chinchpada Water Supply Scheme
A gravity-fed distribution network engineered for 45 liters per capita daily demand, utilizing precise elevation drops to eliminate electricity dependence.
Chinchpada Village Profile
Engineering metrics calculated against seasonal fluctuations to secure year-round water sustainability. The gravity distribution pipeline spans 2.4 kilometers from source to standpost.
Source & Demand Analysis
45 L
daily demand per capita
Hydraulic calculations utilize a perennial spring source well located at an elevation of 184 meters. Gravity-fed distribution eliminates mechanical failure risk, delivering clean water directly to communal standposts without external power.

village residents served
The longitudinal profile maps a total elevation drop of 32 meters, maintaining optimal pressure across all nine delivery nodes without causing pipeline cavitation.
Pump & Pipe Mechanics
To prevent friction losses, the main transmission line uses 75mm diameter Galvanized Iron pipes. A standby solar-powered submersible pump is installed at the source well to augment supply during peak summer drops.
Mechanical Tolerances
Designed for zero electricity dependence during normal gravity flow, with a 3 HP solar pump backup rated at 50,000 liters daily capacity.
